Why we exist and the three pillars of the program.
We believe that AI could transform the world in ways that humanity is not prepared for. Therefore, ensuring its safe development and use is a critical priority. At the same time, we know that human talent in Argentina is exceptional, and that many students and researchers have innovative ideas and the technical depth to advance the AI Safety field.
That's why the main objective of the AISAR scholarships is to promote AI Safety research in Argentina, primarily by supporting academic researchers in adopting AI Safety research lines within their labs. We focus on three pillars:
Talent development
Incubate and stimulate promising students or recent graduates, encouraging professional development in AI Safety research.
Global collaboration
Foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between Argentine researchers and the global AI Safety community.
