The AISAR Scholarships aim to promote research in AI Safety in Argentina, connecting talented students with established top-level researchers.
This educational and research program will last 6 months (expected start: June 15th) during which students will work part-time on a research project under the guidance of a mentor. The program will include seminars with international researchers working on different AI Safety agendas. As part of the program, scholars will receive a monthly stipend of 600 USD for a commitment of 20 hours per week and will have access to a fund for compute expenses of up to 500 USD per month.
In this first iteration, the program will be hosted at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), supervised by the Research Office of the UBA-CONICET Institute of Computer Science (ICC).
